I use a salon spray for that. Biolage makes a great spray that helps protect your hair from the damage of using heat styling products.

V05 Miracle Mist is great. It softens, adds shine and protects from heat.

I have tried a lot of the heat protection sprays and they all work the same -- so that doesn't matter.

but, the best one to get if you want the sleek and shine look is either "badazz" (comes in small red bottle w/ orange cap -- can usually only find at salons or hair stores) or the got2be hair (or something like that) brand -- it comes in a small clear bottle and it sprays on.

those are the only two i use and they work well for me.

i used to use the CHI brands because thats my straightener brand and they worked SO good! but then i was out of town and they didn't have the kind i needed so.. i tried the other two. either one should work well.

"Zero Frizz" serum on damp hair before blowdrying/straightening. It's just like Frizz Ease, but 1/2 the price. You can get it at Walmart.

I spray each dry section of hair with Andrew Collinge Perfect Endings Heat Defence Styling Spray before I use my GHD's, and then when I've done, I spray on Schwarzkopf Gliss Shine Tonic.

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

i use ghd thermal protector for dry course hair, it helps to keep the moisture in ur hair well straightning and keeps ur hair from being damaged from long term abuse from heat styling. Staightening can make ur hair really dry and unmanagable so i use After party smoothing cream from tigi bed head after straightening, it makes it really smooth and soft again.
