Forget remington, I had two pairs once and they both blew up. Try a pair of morphy richards ones if you can't afford ghd's. They cost around 鎷?0 and they're brilliant.

are you sold on remington? cause i've used a LOT of straighteners in my life and the only one i've found that's affordable and really effective is from conair. i don't know the exact name of it, but it's black and has gold colored plates. it gets REALLY hot and does the job wonderfully. kills curls AND frizz. it's about $30
