How do you avoid frizz and go about straightening your hair with creamic straighteners?

I have started doing mine as I fancy a change. I do not often straighten my hair as it is really curly and frizzy I was just wanting some of your ideas/tips. I have been using my remmingtons wet to straight.

John Freida Frizz Ease as directed on the bottle. Don't forget to use protective spray to help prevent hair 'frying' on your ceramic straightners.

Beware, I have very curly hair myself and began straightening it - I really liked how it looked and got sort of addicted to it. I straightened it everyday for nearly 2 years, and it was only then that I realised the damage I had done - my hair was proper frazzled! I have stopped straightening it now, and a year and a half later the roots are much better but the ends are still wrecked - please take care not to get hooked on it and mess up your barnet!

There are straightener gels you can buy, and you need a really high quality straightener. It helps mine if I use my round brush with all the little bristles at the same time. what I do is grab a small chunk of hair, brush it several times with the round brush, then put the straightener just above it so the hair going through the flat iron is first brushed. I hope you can understand that!!

Hiya

My wife has tried numerous products and tools and means of straightening her hair, and the best way to do this is to use L'oreal Elvive anti-frizz serum on wet hair and then use either a brush and hairdryer ( the dryer must be a powerful one - 2000wtts) and blow dry in small sections, followed by ceramic straighteners with more serum if needed, or what she now does to save time, is to use the wet to straight straighteners which she really recommends instead of blowdrying

you should really use spray's especially made for use with straighteners, like Avon heat damage repair spray or any hair straightener spray from Boots or Superdrug. And condition twice a week.

first you must make sure that you blow dry your hair as straight as possible using an anti frizz product and a round brush. its best to use a brush with a metal barrel as the barrel heats up and this helps with the styling of the hair. then straighten with a straightening product and the best straighteners that you can afford. please be careful because even the best straighteners in the world should not be used on a daily basis as they really do fry your hair big time. only for weekend or occasional use im afraid good luck

firstly, i would advise you stop using those straighteners, they are so damaging. they boil the water under the hair cuticles causing no end of damage. use GHD thermal protector and GHD ceramic straighteners, they are the best!
