I swear by Redken 15 Spray Starch. Don't be put off by the word starch it does not leave any residue or leave it stiff or crunchy. It can be used dry or damp. I have long hair and iron it almost everyday but it's protected and super shiny.

VO5 do a lovely straightening cream in a red bottle to use on just washed hair, give it a go, it has a lovely smell!

I just started using a new one from Dove called Intensive Damage Therapy Heat Shield Styling Spray. I was getting little frazzled ends from the straightening iron, and this seems to be helping a great deal. You can use it on damp hair before drying, and then again before the iron. I don't wash my hair everyday, but use this before touching up with the iron. my ends are in much better shape after only about 2 weeks.

tresemme is good but allot of people find coconut oil protects best but sometimes it can leave you hair limp and kinda dank.

The TRESemme heat protection spray is fabulous. It really is value for money, and can be used when you want to straighten your hair, or dry it using a blow dryer after washing.

Make sure to spray your hair from tip to toe for the best protection.

Mark Hill's heat protector .. its abou t鎷?.00-鎷?.50 in boots and it brilliant ..... it also leaves your hair smelling nice ! x

Aveda do one called Hang Straight. It's designed to be put on while your hair is still damp - towel dry - and then you can blow dry and straighten. I use this in conjuction with their Light Effects heat protector spray, which is designed to be put on both before and after straightening.
