I just cut my hair pretty short and it's all poofy and I don't like short poofy wavy hair on me so can anyone give me advice? I need like shampoos, hair products? not straighteners because it just frizzes my hair....

Also flat iron it with a chi iron at night, before u go to bed..this will allow the frizz to go down even more for the next day. Its something about sleeping on it that makes the frizz go away. Good Luck! Oh and dont forget to put a leave-in conditioner before you dry it to straighten it.

For god sake, don't put a straightener/relaxer on it unless you are of ethnic decent where your hair is dark, coarse, and extremely curly. If you want it straighter, you could get a perm, but comb through it straight while its processing, instead of putting it in more curls. Otherwise, a flat-iron would be your best bet short-term. If it is super-thick, you may have a hairdresser thin it out, to make it more manageable. There are all kinds of products out there, mousse, gel, pomades, wax, that help tame out-of-control hair.
