Is it hard to keep up with platinum hair?

I have platinum hair, it's fairly healthy, I keep up with it well.

but i was wondering if after a year or two will it start to become really damaged just from daily styling (such as: tying it up, braiding it)

I usually let my hair dry naturally, and only about once a week I will use either a curling iron or straightener.

but my hair is fairly long (about at my chest)

Is it possible to keep up with it really well?

any tips?

You will be able to keep it up well by getting regular trims and using a shampoo and conditioner for delicate hair. Redken makes the Extreme line for delicate and damaged hair. Use a thermal protection product before you are going to use your heat stylers, but since you don't use them that often, you should be fine :)

Ive been bleaching my hair for several years. Keep up with a good conditioner and continue with what youre doing an you'll be fine. Just keep up on trimming your hair.

I have found Pureology products to be an absolute godsend.

I've bleached my hair for years (and plan to again this summer) and it was fine. Just use John Frieda Sheer Blonde or Pantene Pro-V Blonde Expressions shampoo/conditioner/products,or something of that nature, that was made specifically for natural or color-treated blonde hair.
