THANK YOU I HAVE VERY THICK HAIR AND I LOVE STRAGHTENING IT I HAVE A CERAMIC STRAIGHTENER NOW BUT MY HAIR DOESNT LIKE TO HOLD ITS SILKYNESS. IT IS ALLLLEAYS PUFFY AND FRIZZY AFTER like 10 mins.

try using some product in it, like something that will tame the frizz or a frizz control cream but also protect from heat stylers...

i have a hair straightener but not ceramic, they say they are better for your hair but mine works fine

those are the best for very thich hair

not the thin GHD's but the thick plate's

i have very thick hair and i straighten

my hair nearly every day with them

and they are brilliant

and they last so long too!

Try using hot iron spray on your hair before straightening. If you don't it will dry out your hair that's probably what is happening

i'd get a permanent straightener put in... these can run pretty high... like $300 dollars. so i'd go to a local cosmetology school, ask for the best student, and it will cost less that $100. and yes i think chi is a good straightener, my sister uses it. but i'd apply a special cream idk what its called before straightening thats made for that. also put in some "straighten up" i dont remember the brand, its in a purple bottle... im too lazy to go look =/ get it at wal mart =)

you need to put something in your hair FIRST before you straighten it, like a serum or heat protectant, or your haiir is gonna look like that, ChI makes straightening-iron creams why don't u use that??? I use IC serum it works really good and keeps my hair moisturized and really prevents my hair from burning. for $8 u can get it anywere (walmart, cvs, walgreen..target has lots of varieties).

Yes. Chi is deff. top of the line, best in the market. Pretty expensive though.

hey nixxi its me the one who answer best on your cell phone ques. Heres the thing, Chi is just a name brand. Research into other straightners to see what they do. I have a ION one its works great. I also had my hair chemically straightened/ relaxed which you might want to consider based on how your hair is. OR you could use the threesome Sunsilk Straighten up. Im starting it. I'll email you my results. You'll get many answers but keep in mind " Chi is just a brand, that for straightners right now is a fad. Just like the Ipod"
