Should I dye my hair?

I want to dye my hair but I feel ima look funny. Its not just the fear of looking funny but also the damage it will give my hair. I have natural dark brown hair and light skin, I have asked a hair stylist what color will go for me and she said cinnamon. So if I do dye my hair I wanna know how i can prevent my hair from gettin really damaged. Since I do straighten my hair almost every day, I bought the corioliss straightener to prevent my hair from getting burnt but I feel dying my hair will cause it to get worse and nasty looking, so what do u people think i should do?

if your young like around 14 - 20 i say dont dye it. because once you start dyeing your hair your hair might get messed up. then you'll worry about the roots and when they start to show.. idk its up to you.

I dye my hair alot and it never ever gets damaged, ive dyed my hair one day then the day right after I dyed it I dyed it again lol and its never gotten damage so it just depends on your type of hair, but if you dye it buy shampoo and conditioner with alot of mosturizers in it like Dove or Pantene Moisture Renewal shampoo and condtioner. If you dye it, hope if turns out good!

Don't dye it. That will be bad. If you want to change your hair up a little, just get cinnamon highlights in it, but put them underneath your top layer of hair so they can be seen when you part it one way, but not another...get it? So that way if you hate it or if you think the highlighted part is damaged, you can hide it by parting your hair another way. Just remember, once you start with the dying, you can't stop-it's just maintenance maintenance maintenance after that.

first of all with you buetiful skin color I think sandy blond would look good with a bunch of difforent color browns in and if you don't end up liking it your hair wil always grow back its regular color so all you have to do is cut it off when it grows back

I dye my hair every couple months and its not completely ruined. I dye it with Loreal hair dye you find at beauty stores. Its supposed to only be used in salons. Dont go to a grocery store and buy hairdye, that stuffs bad. I also use a good shampoo and conditioner by Loreal called Natures Therapy Mega Moisture and it works really good for my treated hair. Plus, I use Revlon Anti-Snap leave in conditioner and Revlon Heat Glide to protect my hair from the heat of the blowdryer. Go for it! Its fun to change color ever once in awhile as long as u know how to take care of your hair afterwords.

My opinion is that I wouldn't start using hair products (dye) until you really start to need it. In other words, when your hair starts to gray etc etc.

It sounds to me like you already have all of the pros and cons in front of you... it looks like your worrying about more than actually wanting it.

But if you really, REALLY want it and absolutely can't stand your own natural hair, then go for it.

well maybe you should dye it,but use a natural hair product.

You should use Henna's hair product.So if that messes up your hair,then don't dye your hair,because dye hair products have bad chemicals.I'm all about the natural!
