I have natuarally dry hair which is dark brown in colour. I had a semi permanent colour put on it in April. My hair is also thick with a slight kink, so I use a powerful Parlux hairdryer %26amp; hair straighteners a few times a week to keep it smooth n sleek n under control.
I have going back to blonde (peroxide) highlights next month, and have not had it cut since June. The ends are dry n frizzy. I currently use a flat iron spray and leave in conditioners and intensive conditioners but am looking for a new intensive conditioner to leave on for around 20 mins after washing my hair which will get rid of the frizz - I know the peroxide will dry my hair out even more so something I can start using asap would be great - I have looked at Redken which seem good, but wondering if anyone else can recommend something else for coloured/dry hair.
I'm in Scotland and a regular user of Ebay so can get salon products (usually) cheaper so even if it's expensive could be worth the money if good !
Can anyone recommend a really good intensive conditioner for dry / coloured / heat treated hair ?
Ojon Hair Restoration Treatment!
About 6 weeks ago, I highlighted my hair and it turned to straw. I used this stuff and it transformed my hair like a miracle! It made it soft and so shiny and the dryness was just a memory. It is like a new head of hair. I kept touching it and looking in the mirror! It made such a big difference, it was like having a great new hair style. Even my hubby noticed and that's a hard thing to do!
It comes in a little brown jar and comes with a pamphlet that tells you the many ways to use it. I leave it on for an hour then shampoo it out. My hair still looks great even after using it 2 weeks ago.
It does cost a bit more then drugstore brands but a little jar lasts for months and it's worth it! You can get it on line at sephora.com, drugstore.com, ojon.com and I'm sure you can find it on EBay.
I really hope you try this. It's really quite wonderful!

I've found the little sachets of Australian Miracle Intensive conditioner really works. Great on chemically treated hair.

You could try products by Black Like Me. Their stuff is designed for use on afro hair (obviously) so its great for thick coarse hair of any type. I use it on my colour-treated european hair and its the best stuff, especially the deep revitalising treatment.

Paul Mitchell "moisture" is the best I have ever used!! It leaves my hair very very soft and it use to be very dry and brittle. I tried everything out there and it still felt like hay, even after deep conditioning it alot!. With Paul Mitchel I don't even have to deep condition, it just stays really soft.
