CHI Straightener Question!??

want to straightener my hair but it's wet and it will be probably for another 6 hours since it's sooo thick! I don't want to wait until the morning to straighten my hair b.c. i would have to get up at 6:00am (takes a bit over an hour to do all my hair since it's so long and thick). Is it OK to straighten my hair with my CHI when my hair is wet???

Thanks!

CHI Straightener Question!??

no - you will actually end up cooking your hair -- invest in a blow dryer

CHI Straightener Question!??

NO- CUZ THEN U WILL END UP FRYING UR HAIR...JUST A BLOW DRYER AT TARGET OR SOMETHING!!! TRUST ME IVE HAD EXPERIENCE

CHI Straightener Question!??

yes go a head and use a CHI )crapy) iron on your hair and and FALR IRON IT while it's wet thats the best to do when you have a chi and wet you hair is wet

CHI Straightener Question!??

NOOOO

don't do it unless you want to kill your hair

and it'll damage the iron

blow dry it or something

or take a shower at night

CHI Straightener Question!??

Like the other girl said, it will literally fry your hair. The water will boil and turn to steam, also removing any natural moisture from your hair. Blot your hair with towels to remove as much as the water as you can, then blow dry (buy a blow dryer if you dont have one already, only like $15-20) on the LOWEST setting to prevent frizz.

Sometimes when i straighten my hair with my CHI and its all warmed up and everything (red light flashing) when i put it on my hair, the hair cools it down so much (even when its dry) that the red light will become solid, meaning that its not hot enough (because i cooled it down). So using it with wet hair will probably take a REALLY long time because you'll have to keep waiting for it to heat back up. It could also break your CHI. You should probably wait up at 6 (i do it every day anyways!) then waste the $200 that your CHI costed.

CHI Straightener Question!??

Do NOT get CHI. my family went thru 5 CHI in 3 yrs. Chi breaks within a few months and you have to pay $35 plus shipping to get it fixed.

Chi is being recalled now due to fire hazards. see:

Yes, CHI sucks!

CHI Straightener Question!??

No, thats basically steaming your hair, and it will do massive amounts of damage to it.

Im not sure how safe they are for youre hair, but maybe try the Wet to Dry CHI?
