i use a straightener,

but see my hair is really thick and curly and poofy

so it takes a long time,

and it de straightens easy

You will need: a good ceramic striaghtener(I suggest a Sedu, Solia, or Chi), setmeup hair spray- Herbal Essences, and of course a heat protectant spray, blowdryer, brush, clips

1) Wash your hair, when it's still a bit wet, spray set me up hair spray%26amp; spray in some heat protectant stuff

2) Blow dry straight with the brush and the blowdryer to set the perfect base for striaght styling

3) Finally, when you're done blow drying, and when your hair is completely dry, clip your hair up in sections and starting from the bottom part of your hair, striaghten slowly

ps. Yes, you can buy them in Canada in almost any professional beauty store, you could probably get it from your hair dresser.. But buying it online(not ebay) is cheaper..

Buy a Chi straightener. They are pretty expensive but I bought mine from JcPenneys on sale. They work really well and get really hot. They aren't as bad for your hair as other straighteners.

HOW TO USE YOUR STRAIGHTENING IRON PROPERLY

閳?Shampoo the hair and condition it as normal.

閳?Hair will still show curls and waves.

閳?Apply serum to hair. Amount depends on type and length of hair.(See bottle for help)

閳?Spread serum in palms and rub into hair, smoothing the hair along its length.

閳?Use a hair dryer and paddle brush and start drying the hair encouraging straightness by brushing through the hair as you dry. Do not dry hair comlpletely and set the hairdryers temperature to medium until hair is about 80% dry

閳?Already hair will show signs of straightening but is still frizzy and dry and lacks shine.(Straightness would not last)

閳?With medium or long hair use clips to seperate hair so that you can concentrate on one section at a time.

閳?Starting at the front with a small section of hair use you straightener down the length is a swift smooth motion.

閳?Repeat this step on the next section and continue using small sections right round the head.

閳?Always run the straightener from top, down the hairs length and continue until straightener runs off the hair at the end and hair falls away. Do not stop at any point and try to keep the sweep even and consistant

閳?On larger sections you may need to repeat the run with the straightener 2-3 times.

閳?Once the majority of hair has been straightened finish the style by blending at the ends. With no clips run the straightener close to the ends and off the ends of the hair. This will stop seperation that might occur when using sectioning clips.

閳?You should be left with sleek shiny frizz free straight hair which should last a long time.
