How do I keep my hair straight?

I live in Florida and the humidity is overwhelming. I have naturally thick frizzy wavy/curly hair and own a Solia straightener that I'm satisfied with. Yet when I go outside, my hair "poofs" out and is very unbearable. I'm tired of always wearing my hair up. Is there a way to "thin" out my hair, and any ideas/tips for keeping it straight would be amazing? I've heard about Frizz Ease but I'd like to see reviews about it. Thanks.

why don't you get it permanently straightened done from DA hairdressers or get an expensive professional hair ceramic straightener

I use the Frizz Ease by John Frieda and it is amazing. I use the extra strong because my hair is naturally curly and very frizzy. I use this along with my straight iron and my hair is super straight, long and shiney! Try it you won't use anything else again.

You can try the Japanese hair straightning method. You have to find a salon that actually does it. It is very expensive, but if you can afford the cost, it's the best method.

Same problem here %26amp; I finally got it under control. Use straightening Shampoo %26amp; conditioner, use a straightening cream then I switched to a chi straightener, It cost about 100.00, but it is so worth it. Good luck!

I too have the same problem and understand what your going through. Get Loreal paris Studio Hot Straight. This is a heat activated straightening creme that gives you lasting silky results. And it protects your hair also. Then use a silkening gloss which is like a frizz serium that leaves your hair frizz free and it makes you hair have a natural healthy shine to it. These products will do wonders for you. They did for me. I dont recommend friz ease. I tried it myself and it did nothing for me. Go to a professional salon outlet store and you'll find what you need there. And ask the hairstylists as well. Their a big help. Hope your hair sees better days.

i have the same hair and not looking forward to summer at all because of that! frizz ease is a waste of money. this is what i do i don't wash my hair that often i use pomade and a good flat iron

Go to your salon get it thinned out or in layers. You should also get a Japenese Straightening System it will keep your hair straight and the humidity out always. But it does cost a lot more than 200 and can go up to 1000 depending where you get it and your hair type. Now if you don't want to do this you can get Frizz-Ease products like the Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Extra serum and the Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control. I think your Solia should work well enough of course I would reccomend Sedu! Straighten your hair layer by layer and to finish it off put Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Finishing Cream. You could also try scunching your hair it would be a lot easier and your hair wouldn't get so damaged as it is when your straightening it.
