i have naturally curly hair and straigten it.. now i have stopped useing the straighteners, and my hair is not going back curly.. its been 2months since i last used the irons. and no curl oir wave is in sight?? any1 know how to put this right or why my hair stayed straight. even after shamoo/ and deep conditioning
Why has my hair stayed straight?
Hair ofter has to be trained. By straighten it you have trained it to be curly. Did you chemically straighten it? If so, all of the chemicals will have to grow out before it will go back to being curly. That could take years. If you have only being using irons, it still needs to be retrained. Go to the salon and get a roller set. They will set the hair on perm rollers without using the chemicals. This will get it super curly. Then you just need to wash and dry. Try using curl boosting products - eventually it will go back to curly.
