IF YES, HOW DO U KNOW?
Does anyone know if the BEDHEAD TIGI hair straighteners work on 240 voltage or not?
It it is rated for 110V, DO NOT plug it into a 240V outlet........the unit will most likely catch fire because the heater element is not designed for that voltage.
If the outlets are installed to Electrical Code standards, you will not be able to plug it in anyway...The prong arrangement prevents this from happening.
