first of all, my hair is wavy. My hair is puffy from the sides, and long at the back. My hair is long from the front, but not as long as zac's. So here's the question, should i go to a hair stylist with that pic and have them style my hair and recommend some straighteners(creasms) or should i leave my hair and let it grow more and just use straightening balm, without going to the salon

MY HAIR GETS PUFFY AND WAY LIKE YOURS, SO THIS IS WHAT I DO TO FIX IT:

go to wal mart and you can by "GARNIER FRUCTiS SLEEK%26amp;SHINE ANTI-FRIZZ SERUM" (it comes in a green round ball with a soup-like dispenser)

after you wash hair with the oh so silkening "Dove moisturinging shampoo and conditiner, towel dry hair is its still damp. rub a SMALL amount (size of a quarter) onto palms then into hair. then let it airdry until its FULLY dried.

after that you can straighten hair with a straighten iron by itself with no chemicals and it will come out AWESOME! then style it like zacs.

if you want to straighten your hair at all, do it dry, never wet. try to get a straightener with ceramic plates; they'll do the least amount of damage by sealing the hair cuticle while the plates go over the hair.

I Have about twenty dollars to spend on a straightener that will straightener my hair somewhat quick and maybe hold it straight well. My hair is naturally pretty straight so it doesnt have to be that fancy, and also my hair is thin so it can be thin? I just went through a bedhead light me up straightener that I liked very much but it cost sixty dollars so I cant afford another one.

The wet to straight u can get it from 15 to 25 so bring 25 to be prepared you can get it at wal mart for cheap and they come in three different sizes small medium and large so you can pick they go up to level 30 and thats pretty hot.

If your hair is coarse %26amp; curly then go to an ethnic beauty supplier store as the straightener's there have a higher temperature which is what is needed with the coarse/curly hair. If your hair is typically straight you just want to smooth it out then go to walmart, target, etc and purchase any of the ones there - typically any brand will work.

The first thing you need to do is make sure that the straightener has ceramic plates as this evens out heat and makes less damage to your hair.

1. IT HAS CERAMIC PLATES!

2. It heats up quickly

3. It is not too bid so you can reach more difficult points (above the ear + bangs).

But there are also other good brands you can choose from.

I'm too lazy to dye my hair or anything, so I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make hair shiny. I have really really dark brown opaque hair (no shine), thats really long, and naturally curly, but I straighten it usually (with a hair dryer, no longer a straightener cuz of the damage.) I use John Frieda Frizz-ease both shampoo and conditioner and use the color glaze for brunettes everytime I shower. It's gotten a little better, but I'm thinking its just cuz I just got a haircut last month. My hair is somewhat damaged, but to a normal extent. Anyone have a product that worked for them? (and that was somewhat affordable)

the key to shine is moisture. so get a deep conditioner and use it once a week, like neutregena hair masque. then use a shine serum like citre shine. also try a clarifying shampoo to remove any build up that my be dulling your hair. top off your style with a shine spray like kenra platinum spray, it works really well.

ther is a line of shampoos and conditioners that emphasise colours .... they r kindfa expensive buh the work amazing....i think they are by pantene ...they are called names like brilliant brunette, brilliant blonde ect... just get the right one and ur set....straifhtening it occasionally on lower heat settings will also make it shiner

I use Pantene's Brunette Expressions when I feel that my hair colour needs a kick whether its been dyed or not. What I like about the shampoo and conditioner is that will use subtle tones to shake it back into shine. If I'm feeling extravagant though, I will use John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette over Pantene although it can be expensive depending on where its bought from. Use a pea sized amount of a shine serum on your hair when its wet or dry to help it along.
